Vivah Muhurat 2027: All 118 Marriage Dates with Exact Timings
Vivah Muhurat 2027 has 118 shubh marriage dates, computed from the classical panchang for Delhi (IST). The strongest windows fall in February, May and June; August to October is closed by Chaturmas. Every date below lists its exact auspicious window, tithi and nakshatra — and the full list shows why each one qualifies.
If your family is planning a 2027 wedding, the first thing to know is that the year opens late and closes early: Kharmas runs until 15 January and returns on 16 December, and Chaturmas shuts the season from 13 July to 9 November. Inside those boundaries Bela’s engine finds 118 shubh vivah dates for Delhi (IST), each with an exact window, tithi and nakshatra — 120 candidate days were dropped for falling inside the prohibited periods, exactly as a traditional panchang list would drop them.

May (20 dates) and June (19) are the year’s richest months — the classical summer season at full strength. August, September and October have none at all, which brings us to the rules that shape the calendar.

One honest footnote on the late-night and early-morning windows: the panchang day runs sunrise to sunrise, so a window listed after midnight belongs to the early hours of the following civil day. A “6 February, 10:57 PM – 12:35 AM” muhurat ends just after midnight on the 7th — plan the pheras accordingly.
Why August to October has no dates
Families new to muhurat planning are often startled by the four-month gap. It is not a bug in any calendar; it is Chaturmas, the four monsoon months from Devashayani Ekadashi to Prabodhini (Devotthana) Ekadashi — in 2027, 13 July to 9 November — during which the tradition suspends marriages while Vishnu sleeps. Add Kharmas (Malmas) — the Sun’s passages through Sagittarius (until 15 January, and again from 16 December) and Pisces (15 March to 14 April) — and the year’s shape is fully explained. There is no Adhik Maasa (leap lunar month) in 2027; 2026 had one, from 17 May to 14 June, which is why the 2026 list looks different again.
How each date earned its place
A date enters the list only when its best choghadiya window of the day is non-disqualified: clear of Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda, Gulika and Durmuhurtam, with a rahita Panchaka, a nakshatra classically suited to marriage under the seven-fold classification, a tithi that is neither rikta nor Amavasya, and a yoga other than Vyatipata or Vaidhriti. The score (0–100) rewards the good choghadiyas — Amrit windows score highest — and the Abhijit Muhurat bonus.
Crucially, you do not have to trust the score. The complete list on the Vivah Muhurat 2027 page expands every date into its per-rule breakdown — ten named rules, each marked pass, fail, caution or neutral, with the reason. That breakdown is the difference between a computed muhurat and a copied one.
Using these dates well
Three practical notes from the parampara:
- The dates travel, the windows do not. These timings are computed for Delhi (28.61°N, 77.21°E, IST). A window depends on local sunrise, so in Mumbai or Bengaluru it shifts by minutes, and abroad by more. Use the date confidently; recompute the window for your city — the Bela app does this for your exact venue.
- Universal is not personal. These dates clear panchang-shuddhi only. Tara Bala and Chandra Bala — the day’s Moon against the bride’s and groom’s birth stars — can promote or veto any of them. That personal gating is the app’s job, and your family pandit’s.
- Book the venue before the season squeezes. With August–October closed, February, May and June 2027 will see the same demand crunch every pandit and banquet hall already knows about.
For every date with its full rule breakdown, see Vivah Muhurat 2027. If your wedding must happen this year instead, the 2026 dates are computed the same way.
Your moment, computed for you.
Generic lists clear the universal rules. The Bela app recomputes every window for your exact city and applies Tara Bala and Chandra Bala against your own birth star — the personal layer no article can.
