The character of Shravana
Shravana is the ear — listening, learning, the word heard and handed down, under Vishnu's three world-measuring strides. Chara (movable) by class, it favours travel, study, teaching and every work that moves by word of mouth. Onam's Thiruvonam is this very star.
The four padas of Shravana
